With so much focus on cyber security and the fear of a faceless hacker attacking your technology, it’s no wonder that many businesses have information security firmly labelled as an IT issue – especially if your organisation holds client or third party data.
Our recent survey showed that over half of the UK workforce would be willing to sabotage their own employer through tampering with, stealing, leaking or providing misinformation.
That’s 15 million people ready to undermine their company from the inside. A shocking two million admitted to already having done so. In a business of 200 people, that’s 14 of your employees who have deliberately exposed your company to harm through your business information.
And, that’s not to mention the risks of human error, or policy oversights.
