The Human Face of Information Risk – Regional Differences

Part 3 in Ascentor’s mini blog series on the Human Face of Information Risk, this time showing the differences caused by regional variation. Only the South East falls below the UK average of 53%. The survey also found that sending information to rivals was high on the list of tactics they would consider; perhaps the rest of the UK has a bigger problem to solve.

It may be that regions with less stable employment, or where industries in which this behaviour was more prevalent, account for the higher incidence in certain regions. Further interrogation would be needed to expose the reasons for the variations.
