Leicester head-quartered EMB Group have acquired Ascentor, a leading information risk management consultancy based in Gloucestershire.
Ascentor holds IASME gold status and has a range of significant customers in both the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Defence.In addition to information risk, their expertise also covers information assurance and information security standards including cyber security. MD Dave James will continue to lead the Ascentor business with fellow shareholders Paddy Keating and Steve Maddison remaining with the business as consultants.
